This range of general purpose trailers has been designed to offer maximum strength with a low unladen weight, combined with modern appearance and safe, stable towing characteristics. All models have a hot dipped galvanised steel chassis with 2mm thick pre-galvanised steel sides 300mm deep and an 18mm phenol coated non-slip plywood floor.
The independent rubber suspension axles have auto reversing brakes, operated by a cast steel hydraulic damped over run coupling with a power assisted hand brake and integral jockey wheel. All trailers are available with a range of optional equipment to suit many applications, including ramp tail doors and mesh extension sides, however extra equipment will increase the unladen weight and reduce the payload.

Bateson manufacture three braked hydraulic tipping trailers. The 2 ton 202H which is manual tipping and the 2.6 ton 263H and 3.5 ton 353H which are both 12V electric tipping.
